FRANK RICHARD AUFF, 65, of Houston, after a brief illness went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2014.
A longtime resident of the Houston/Pasadena area Mr. Auff was born in New York City, New York on April 5, 1948 to parents Emmerick Auff and Angelina Pietras. He was preceded in death by both parents and a brother Joseph P. Cadello
Mr. Auff is survived by his wife, Deborah of Houston, daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Michael Powell of Crosby, son and daughter-in-law Frank “Bubba” and Bobbi Auff, son and daughter-in-law Casey and Megan Moore of Longview, son Matthew Moore and companion Lisa Stiles of Longview. Grandchildren David and Dean Robinson of Crosby, Denise Auff of Manvel, Austin, Dylan and Mason Moore of Longview and Tyler Moore of Moline, KS, Jake, Emily and Parker Sessions of Baytown, Allyssa Powell of League City and Jordon Hunter-Pierce of Crosby.
Mr. Auff is also survived by sisters Adeline Stomskie of Westfield, MA and Georgia Treece of Bryan, TX and a brother Gilbert Myers of Las Vegas, NV and several very special nieces and nephews.
One of Mr. Auff’s greatest passions was working for 40 years as a Journeyman Electrician for several local, national and international contractors. He was a founding member/officer of the Open Road Cookers of Houston, a charity barbeque cooking team.
Throughout the years Mr. Auff enjoyed golfing, fishing, motorcycling, scuba diving and participating in men’s softball leagues. Mr. Auff was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Rosewood Funeral Home in Pasadena, TX. Funeral services will be held the following day Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. also at Rosewood Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster, TX
