Rita A. Albertelli, 63, of the Keystone section of Plains Township, died Saturday evening at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of Rita Proeller Hill, of Wilkes-Barre, and the late Frank Hill.

She was a graduate of St. Nicholas High School, class of 1961, and Empire Beauty School, Wilkes-Barre.

Rita was employed in the garment industry and was also a licensed beautician. She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Rita, are her husband of 39 years, Vincent, Keystone; daughter Michele Albertelli and her companion, Ken Brzozowski, Wyoming; son Vincent and companion Casina Cooper, Pittston; grandchildren Gabriel and Joshua Albertelli, and Tyler Brzozowski; brothers Frank Hill and wife Alice, Kingston; George Hill and wife Kathy, Larksville; sister Mary Ruth Answini and husband Albert, Allentown; nephews and nieces; and mother-in-law Mary Albertelli, Kingston.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin. There will be no calling hours.

Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to St. Maria Goretti Church, Tree of Life or Medical Oncology Associates, 382 Pierce St., Kingston, PA 18701.

Rita's family wishes to thank Dr. Saidman and his staff for all the wonderful care they were given.
