Mrs. Ella (Burkholder) Diehl, 79 of 101 North Sixth Street, Chambersburg, died at midnight Wednesday at her home following a stroke.
She had been in ill health since last November.
She was born January 28, 1875, in Marion, daughter of William R. and Laura (Bender) Burkholder. Mrs. Diehl was a member of the Methodist Church and the Lucinda Speer Bible Class. Her husband, D. Harvey Diehl died five years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Marion E. Diehl, at home.
Services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Sellers Funeral Home with Rev. Nelson H. Frank officiating. Burial will be made in Norland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 7 until 9 p.m.
