MRS. PERCY ANN GOWER

Mrs. Percy Ann Gower, 81 years old, widow of David A. Gower, died Tuesday morning at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. C. M. Malone, Patterson's Creek, Cumberland. She was a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Kight (it should read Malinda Jane McRobbie), and formerly resided in New Creek Valley.

Mrs. Gower is survived by two daughters and four sons, Mrs. Amos Strawcutter, Reynolds, Pa; Mrs. Walter Peck, Oakland; Herley J. Gower, Charles T. Gower, of Reynoldsville; Benjamin M. Gower, Oakland; and Wilber N. Gower, Ridgeley, West Virginia.

She leaves four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. George Hawk, Cumberland; Mrs. Thomas Mock, Davis W. Va; Mrs. C. W. Burke, Swanton; Mrs. Henry Likens, Baynard, W. Va.; B. C. Kight, Cumberland; and Jocob Kight, Fairmont, W. Va.; also 24 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock this morning from Butler Funeral Home, Cumberland, Rev. H. T. Bowersox, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, offiating. Interment was made at 2:30 this afternoon at Gortner cemetery
