Zola Margaret (Falkenstein) Jones went to be with her Lord Sunday, April 16, 2006.
Zola Margaret (Falkenstein) Jones was born April 30, 1917, in Chandler to Claude and Hatie (Day) Falkenstein. She was reared on a farm in Beaver County and attended the LaKemp School in Beaver County. Zola graduated from Chandler High School.

Zola was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and then United Presbyterian Church. She had been a long standing member of the Evening Bible Study at both churches. She taught Sunday School to the Nursery Class at Central and received the Honorary Life Membership from the Presbyterian Women in 1980. She was lovingly known as "Mama Jones" to many children she cared for,.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Jones; sister, Ruth Ann Falkenstein of Denver, Colo.; brother-in-law, Dale Oldham of Woodward; nieces, Sue and husband, Allan Crump, of Maumelle, Ark., and Vera Farmer of Reno, Nev.; nephews, Rick and wife, Mary Evans, of Chandler, Dan Oldham of Woodward and Larry and wife, Linda Oldham, of Atoka.

She was preceded in death by her son, Max Wayne Jones; parents; sisters, Bessie Mae Oldham and Florence Evans and nephew, Mike Oldham.

Service will be 1 p.m. today at Gaskill Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bob Scrutchins and Dave Lewis officiating. She will be buried at New Zion Cemetery, Chandler.
