Clarence Thomas King, 94, Valdese, was a son to the late Furman King and Ola Robinson King. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
He was a member of Enon Baptist Church and was owner and operator of King Hosiery Mill for over fifty years. Mr. King was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy , serving his country during WW II. Clarence was a loving father and grandfather, who enjoyed fishing and had a great love for music. He played the guitar his entire adult life, combining along with uncles Ed and Ben Robinson to form the Rambling Mountaineers and also played along with Carl Story.
Entombment in Burke Memorial park Mausoleum.
