David Leo and Wanda Anita CONSTANTINE

CONSTANTINE, David Leo & Wanda Anita David passed away October 13, 2014, after suffering for approximately eight months from heart related problems. He was looking forward to a Heavenly home and reunion with his wife and parents. David was the only child born to Andress Leo and Florence Iona (Fry) Constantine of Kennewick, WA on November 19, 1926. He attended school in the Elk-Deer Park area, graduating from Riverside High School in May, 1944. For the next couple years David worked as a dairy farm hand. He served in the Army January '51 - '53 and in the reserves January '53 - '56. Records show he also worked in a paper mill in Oregon, a steel mill in Pennsylvania and for a chrome plating company. He was hired at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in August 1976 where he remained until retirement in July 1992. On July 29, 1961, David married Wanda Anita Thomas at the Park Road Christian Church. Wanda died on June 28, 2008 from the effects of a stroke suffered approximately 12 years earlier. No children were born of this union. Their ashes are housed side by side at Fairmount Memorial Park. David is survived by two stepchildren: Timothy Blue of Spokane and Dixie Parker of Lakewood, WA; four step grandchildren, one step great-granddaughter; step nieces and nephews, good friends and neighbors.
