Dennis O'Keefe took sick near a week ago, with hemorrhage of the lungs, and gradually grew worse till Wednesday morning at one o'clock, when he quietly passed away. Mr. O'Keefe was 37 years old. he was born in Platt county, Mo., where he grew up. He was married July 8, 1886, at Leavenworth, Kan., to Miss Minnie Shaver, and came here some years ago, where he has since resided. He leaves a wife and four children.
His funeral was conducted by the Rev. J. Windbigler, and his remains were laid to rest in the Cherokee cemetery.
