Don Allshouse was born to Leroy and Bertha Allshouse, on the 8th of March 1934, in Akron.
Don retired from both the Akron Police Department and the Summit County Sheriff's office with a total of 44 years service.
Don Allshouse Senior, 80, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on the 14th of December 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Cathe; son Jim (Kathy) and their daughter Gabby, Don Jr. and Michael Allshouse; special daughter Susan and her sons Nathan, Edward and Jeff (Christy) Allshouse and their son Bentley; brothers-in-law Bill (Becky), Tom (Louise) Quinn and their children Will (Gretchen) and Bridget and his special companions Bo, Becky and Molly.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Sean Wilson and staff.
Memorial Service will be held at 6 P.M. on Thursday, December 18th 2014 at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Akron OH 44319 (SR 619) with Rev. Bob Denton and Chaplain Jim Allshouse officiating. Family and friends may call Thursday from 4 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
