One of my fondest memories is Grandpa bringing out his old wood tools and teaching me wood working. We made birdhouses and hung them in the great elm trees in the front yard.
The picture on the right is the last time I ever saw Grandpa. He died a few weeks later when I was at Navy signalman school.
