He was son of the late Harry and Ethel (Coulson) Trostle, and husband of Marie (Yohe) Trostle, York Springs. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Chestnut Grove Lutheran church.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son: Ronald Trostle of York Springs; three daughters: Sandra Taylor of York Springs; Pamela Eisenhart of East Berlin; and Kim Riley of York Springs; two brothers: George and Harry Trostle, both of York Springs; two sisters: Grace Golden of York Springs; and Mildred Deardorff of Dillsburg; and seven grandchildren.
