Born Nov. 23, 1910 in Arendtsville, she was the daughter of the late Isaiah D. and Addie Belle (Baldwin) Knouse. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, George F. Trostle.
Mrs. Trostle was a member of Chestnut Grove Lutheran Church, York Springs. She had been employed at Knouse Foods Cooperative in Peach Glen, prior to her retirement in 1976.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one son: Clair F. Trostle of York Springs; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
