She married Darrell L. Lane on April 8, 1950. He passed away Jan. 15, 2006.

Surviving are one son, Randy Lane, Clinton; four daughters, Fran Reeser, Dianna (Dale) Ballenger and Jeannie (Matt) Yeakel, all of Clinton and Jackie (Orie) Palmer, Lincoln; two brothers, Charles (Poge) Alwood, Clinton and Claude Alwood, Warrensburg; two sisters, Jessie (Irvin) Monkman, Metropolis and Dorothy (Art) Sutton, Bolingbrook; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
