Rebecca Lee Humphrey, 75, of Bowling Green, entered into rest Dec. 15, 2014.

A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Katherine Matthews Everett.

Rebecca is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Lewis Humphrey; two sons, Wesley L. Humphrey of Alvaton and Carlos G. Humphrey (Kelly) of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren, Heather L. Shadwell, Houston T., Hutchinson W., Haley D., Joshua K., Carly G. and Rachel A. Humphrey; a great-granddaughter, Tinsley A. Shadwell; two nieces, Susan Livesay and Donna Kanaly; and two great-nephews, Nick and Ryan Kanaly.

Rebecca was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church and was the Sunday school teacher for the senior women’s class. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Goshen Chapter 198 and was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at J.C. Kirby & Son, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery No. 2. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until the funeral hour at 2 p.m. Thursday.
