Shirley Jennings, 68, of Shelbyville died Monday, December 15, 2014 in Louisville.
She was a member of Salem Baptist Church where she had served as secretary-treasurer for 42 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Letitia Perkins Smith and her brothers, Jack and Tommy Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Sam Jennings; daughter, Becky Jennings McDonald (Perry); son, Brad Jennings (Kristi), all of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Ashley Coulter (Daniel), Taylorsville; Amber Smith, Anndrea Smith, Austin Jennings and Madison Jennings, all of Shelbyville; Jake McDonald (Ashley), Clarksville, TN; Patrick McDonald, Buford, SC; Brandy McDonald, Dowagiac, MI; Summer McDonald, Clarksville, TN; great grandchild, Branson Case Coulter, Taylorsville and brother, Curtis Smith, Bagdad.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Jennings, Rev. Eddie Nation and Rev. Jim Hill officiating. Visitation will be 2-8 P.M. Thursday, December 18th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
