Cynthia Ogle Wright Dixon, 69, of Wirtz, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at her home. She was born September 12, 1945 in Blacksburg, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Wright, of Blacksburg; father, Howard Ogle, of Blacksburg; and brother, Larry Ogle, of Blacksburg. Cindy is survived by her husband, Bobby Dixon, of Wirtz, Va; her mother, Ruth Ogle, of Blacksburg; brother, Randy Ogle and wife, Cathy; nieces, Shannon and Kasey of Powhatan, Va.; daughter, Kelly Shelton and granddaughter, Caroline, of Raleigh, N.C.; and grandson, Brett, of Roanoke, Va.; her uncle, Bill Dobyns and wife, Elaine, of Blacksburg, Va. Cindy has many nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, and friends. She worked as a beautician for over 40 years serving many of the same clients for over 30 years. Cindy attended Shenandoah Baptist Church for over 20 years, an d then currently attends Smith Mountain Lake Church of the Brethren.Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Naff officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, December 16, 2014 at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
