She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Sevierville.
Blanche was a devoted wife and mother.
She graduated from Pittman Center High School and Asheville Teachers College, then she went on to teach school for several years.
After she married, she worked with her husband Charlie for many years running the concrete plant at Blalock's. She was affectionately called "Mom" by many employees, customers and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents: David Coin and Rintha Louise Maples Watson; brothers: Richard, Arthur, and Robert Watson; sisters: Dicie Ogle, Ruth Wilson, and Kate Beck; sons: Bryan and Jerry Blalock; grandchild: Tammy Blalock.
