Arthur A. Meola of North Providence died June 29 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. He was the beloved husband of the late Angela A. (Lepore) Meola. Born in Lawrence, Mass., he was the son of the late Angelo D. and Maria (Pilotti) Meola. He moved to Providence in 1940 and had lived in North Providence for many years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served with the 69th Infantry Division. He was a tool cutter and grinder for the former Industrial Machine Corporation in Georgiaville. He was an accomplished magician and was a member of the Society of American Magicians and was past vice president of the Rhode Island International Brotherhood of Magicians. He was a member of American Legion Post 35 in Providence and the North Providence Senior Citizens. He was the brother of the late Benjamin V. and Flora Meola.
