Arline S Meverden Siewert of Appleton, age 79, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2005, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center.

She was born July 3, 1925, in Eland, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Anna Toetschinger Meverden.

Arline was united in marriage to Ervin Siewert, on June 12, 1945. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1983.

Arline attended Manitowoc Nursing College and was very active in many organizations such as: Christian Mothers, Home School Association, Teachers Aid, Women of the Moose, International Association of Machinists Auxiliary, 4-H Leader, Homemakers, Topps, and various choruses.

Arline enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting, walks with her friends and family, and assisting in church functions here in Appleton as well as in Chula Vista, California. Her greatest pleasures in life were music, singing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren, who are continuing her musical ambitions.

Arline's children and families are the love of her life. Her loving arms encircled those many miles away. Her enjoyment of life is like a sunbeam ever bright. We truly can say, Mom is the "Wind Beneath Our Wings".
