She graduated from Marietta College, Class of 1937, Phi Beta Kappa, with four majors, French, German, History, and Latin. In addition to her college studies she played field hockey and was a member of the rowing team.
She had worked for the Credit Bureau, Inc and was a substitute teacher for the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, OH.
Mrs. Adovasio was a member of St. Dominick Church of Youngstown, OH; she belonged to the Dominican Laity, Professed 3rd Order Dominican, Altar and Rosary Society, Infant of Prague Society, Assumption Guild, and Legion of Mary.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. James A. Adovasio who died in World War II.
She is survived by her son She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at St. Dominick Catholic Church on Saturday until the time of Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
