KERRVILLE — Laura Beaver of Ingram, at the age of 98, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at a Kerrville, Texas, care center.
She was born on Feb. 13, 1914, in Fredericksburg, Texas, to Alfred and Lina (Baumann) Crenwelge.
Laura married Fred Beaver on March 2, 1940, in Fredericksburg, Texas. She was a member of City West Church in Ingram and lived in the Hill Country all her life. Laura was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed her family and being with them.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and husband, Fred Beaver.
Laura is survived by her son, Tommy Beaver and wife, Kathy of Ingram, Texas; granddaughter, Erin Beaver of Mississippi; grandson, Phillip Beaver and wife, Hannah of Mississippi; and many other family members and friends who love her and will miss her.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 20, at Nichols Cemetery in Kerrville, with Pastor Dave Gentery officiating.
Arrangements are under the care of Wright's Funeral Parlor of Kerrville.
