Precious Abshire, 94, Russellville, died at 11:49 a.m. Dec. 11, 2014, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green of natural causes.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Russellville with the Rev. Charles McCutchen Jr. officiating.
Visitation with family will be from 3 until 4 p.m. today at Gamble Funeral Home. Another visitation will be from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Russellville.
A native of Adairville, she was born Oct. 5, 1920, the daughter of the late Albert Woodard Sr. and Idella Allen Woodard.
She was a housewife and the chair of may social programs at Old Union Elementary School in Logan County. She was a member at Old Union Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir and culinary committee, and was an usher.
Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Abshire Tolliver, Fairview, and the Rev. Josephine Abshire Furlow, Detroit, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
