Helen Marie Lewis Gouge, of Kingsport, Tenn., passed away, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014.
She was born on Oct. 9, 1930 in Carter County, Tenn. She lived most of her life in Kingsport.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Strail Gouge; her parents, John and Mamie Morris Lewis; brothers, Johnny Lewis and Kenneth Lewis.
She is survived by daughters, Patricia Hade (Wes) and Peggy Gouge Key; granddaughters, Sarah Hade and Rebekah Hade; sisters, Selma Bowers (Ennis) and Christine Taylor (Lynn); brother-in-law, Ralph Gouge; sisters-in-law, Royetta Lewis and Barbara Berry, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a special friend and neighbor, Rometa Witt.
Graveside service and interment was Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 in Elizabethton, Tenn.
