Marjorie Faye Abel, 92, of Waco, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014. Services will be 3 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, December 15, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey.
Marjorie was born in Wise County, Texas, to the late Earl and Maggie Hawkins. She and Thomas "Tony" Abel were married on April 12, 1946 and they lived in Dallas for 40 years. Marge was employed at Joske's Department Store for 20 years and after retirement the family moved to Hewitt. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Waco.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Christine Liles; and a brother, Raymond C. Hawkins.
