Born Oct. 31, 1901, in Minot, N.D., to William Findley and Lillie Mae Harris Crisman, she married Herman Teater on May 8, 1925, in Rantoul. He died May 23, 1983, in Peoria. Five sisters and four brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, David William Teater of Joliet and San Diego; two daughters, Marilyn Colleen Hindson of Springfield and Doris Jeanne Glore of Tucson, Ariz.; one sister, Opal Wilson of Shelton, Wash.; and one brother, Byron Crisman of Long Beach, Calif.
She taught in public schools for five years.
She was a member of Forrest Hill United Methodist Church in Peoria, African Violet Association and Peoria Garden Club.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
