William Avery English, 57, departed this life on September 21, 2014, surrounded by love. He was born to the late Ray and Mary Evelyn English, September 25, 1956 in Long Beach, CA.

He is survived by his son William Louis Savastano, his daughter Melissa Ray English Beltran, his son-in-law Jesus Elmer Beltran Jr., and the light in his life, his Grandson Jesus Elmer Beltran, III. He is also survived by his siblings, Alice Northrup, Howard English, Gaylen English, Ronnie English, Rick English, Ellen Ford and Beth Bogart and he was preceded in death by his brother Jim English and his sister Shirley Muse. He was survived by many nieces and nephews.

He loved music, movies, and Stephen King novels. His favorite song was Time is Tight by Booker T. and the MG's. His true passion was his family and their genealogy, as he worked endlessly on our family tree, researching back to 1430. He touched the lives of many, selflessly volunteering his time and energy helping others discover their own family history.
