Pauline Thomas Tweed, 92, of Marshall, NC passed away Friday, December 12, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Sylvanis Thomas and Viva King Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 some years, Andy Tweed, two sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by five children: Joe Van (Brenda) Tweed of Rogersville, TN, Gladys (Larry) Gunter of Fairview, NC, Ed (Ollie) Tweed, Roy (Wilma) Tweed and Kathleen (Gene) Gosnell all of Marshall; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Dewitt (Peggy) Thomas of Mosheim, TN; sister-in-law, Pearl Gentry of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tweed will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Middle Laurel Church of God, conducted by Reverends Jimmy Dean Hensley and Richard Lowe. Burial will follow in the Joe Tweed Cemetery.
