Chloe Lenora (Eggeman) Smith, 78 - Wooster Ohio

Chloe Lenora (Eggeman) Smith, age 78, of Wooster Ohio formerly of Orrville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Shady Lawn Health Care Community in Dalton, following a period of declining health.

Lenora was born on October 24, 1936, in Arnoldsburg, WV, to the late Johnie and Cora (Butler) Alfred and married Robert J. “Bob” Eggeman on July 26, 1957 in WV. Bob died on May 4, 1995. She later married Ronald L. Smith on November 14, 1998, in Wooster.

She graduated from Calhoun County High School, Class of 1955 and worked for American Weatherseal and Westinghouse in Orrville, eventually retiring from Rubbermaid in Wooster.

Lenora was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Marshallville. She enjoyed camping, sightseeing, traveling, and going out to eat with her husband. She will be remembered as a people person who especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald Smith of Wooster; children, Brenda Eggeman of Dalton, R. John Eggeman of Wooster, Randy Smith of MI, and Diana (Jeremy) Dutra of MI; grandchildren, Heather (John) Bischoff of Orrville, Kyle R. Yates of Dalton, and Krissy, Scotty, and Ronny Todd, all of MI; great grandchildren, Riley, Hope, Taylor, Rhys, Hunter, Leland, J.T., and Brie of Orrville, and Jaidyn, Briana, Aubrey, Jaxon, Leona and Nathan of MI; and a sister, Carolyn (Frank) Miller of Rosedale WV.

In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Paul D. Eggeman, and Rodney A. Eggeman; and a sister, Nellie Alfred.

Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville Ohio, with Rev. John Corsi officiating.

Friends may call on Sunday at the funeral home, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Online registry and expressions of condolence may be made at the funeral home's web site at www.aublefuneralhome.com
