Frank J. Aben, 81 years old, who operated a small dairy farm on the outskirts of Moline until 1923, died at 6:55 last night in the family residence, 1409 East Tenth street, Kewanee. He had conducted a chicken farm at Kewanee since leaving Moline. A daughter, Miss Leona M. Aben, resided in Moline.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but the body will be brought to St. Mary’s cemetery, East Moline, for burial.
Mr. Aben was born Dec. 14, 1859, in Koewacht, Holland. He married Augusta DeVos Nov. 26, 1895, and they came to the United States shortly after marriage.
Leaving Chicago in 1913, Mr. Aben came to Moline to start a dairy, and he remained here ten years.
Surviving besides the widow are a son, Rene J. Aben of Montebello, Cal., a daughter, Miss Leona Aben of Moline, a grandchild, Marian Aben; and a twin sister in Beveren, Waes, Belgium.
