Mr. Aben was born Dec. 14, 1859, in Koewacht, Holland. He married Augusta DeVos Nov. 26, 1895, and they came to the United States shortly after marriage.
Leaving Chicago in 1913, Mr. Aben came to Moline to start a dairy, and he remained here ten years.
Surviving besides the widow are a son, Rene J. Aben of Montebello, Cal., a daughter, Miss Leona Aben of Moline, a grandchild, Marian Aben; and a twin sister in Beveren, Waes, Belgium.
