Loren M. Bouchie, age 50, of Twin Lakes, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005.


Loren was born Oct. 15, 1954 in Grand Rapids to Richard and Vivian (Baldwin) Bouchie. He graduated from Greenway High School in 1973. He married Terri Niebeling in 1975. They made their home at Twin Lakes. Loren had worked construction and for a cabinet shop for several years before working at Arturus Mine. After the mine closed Loren started Bouchie's Auto Sales in 1986. Loren was an avid high school hockey fan, especially Greenway, and attended the Minnesota High School Hockey Tournament every year. Loren especially loved serving at Grace Bible Chapel as a greeter and a deacon. His gift of hospitality and generous nature showed in serving at events like the church's annual corn feed and in his way of helping customers in his business.


Loren was preceded in death by his father Richard in 1986, and two brothers, Gary in 1949 and Steven in 1966.


Surviving family includes his wife Terri; one daughter,two sons, his mother, three brothers, three sisters, and many nieces and nephews.


Burial will be Itasca-Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
