Harvey, 83, passed away at 9:18 p.m., at his home.

He was the son of Harvey and Ruth (Crist) Hunsicker, Sr. On Mar 29, 1958, he married Glenda Lee Marshall, who survives in Alger.

Also surviving are four sons: Mike (Tami), Steve and Dave (Cindy), all Alger, and Duane (Melannie), Belle Center; three brothers: Lewis and Darrell, both Alger, and Kenny (Barb), Smyrna, TN; three sisters: Lenore Maddox, Florrisant, MO, Jean Kratt, Avon Lake, and Marsha Sprang, Kenton; two stepsisters: Pat (Kash) Allen, Alger, and Jean Spurlock, Lansing, MI; eight grandchildren.

Deceased are three brothers: Russell, Raymond and Sam; and two sisters: Alice Scott and Cheryl Howard.

He retired after working for 27 years from Sheller Globe, Lima, as an electrician. He was a township clerk for Marion Township from 1971 until he retired in 1996. He owned and operated Hunsicker Video Store, Alger, for 10 years. He attended McGuffey High School and joined the U.S. Army when he was 17. He served from June 24, 1949 to August 16, 1952. During the service he was an undefeated boxer with Golden Gloves. He served during the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of the Ada VFW Post #9381. He was an avid Democrat. He was very proud of his four sons.

A graveside service will be at Preston Cemetery, Alger, with Rev. James Goldsmith officiating and Military Honor's will be conducted by the Ada VFW Post #9381 Honor Guard.
