Shannon K. Herrington, 51, of Laurel, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2014, at Memory Chapel with burial to follow at Big Creek Cemetery in Jones County. Visitation will be held beginning at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Herrington was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph S. Collins and Charlene Knight Collins.
Survivors include her husband, Spencer E. Herrington and two brothers, Ralph Anthony Collins and Ellis Warren Collins, all of Laurel; two nieces, Ashley Thompson and Katie Collins Garner, nephew, Ty Collins; two great nieces, Ashton Thompson and Alex Garner; and two great nephews, Dalton Thompson and Lukas Garner.
