Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, after a short illness, Ronald D. Fuller, 80, taught us a final lesson in courage and strength before he passed.

Ron was born on Oct. 27, 1934, in Anaconda to Margaret and F.L. Fuller Sr. Ron graduated from Anaconda High School in 1953. From 1954 to 1956, Ron served in the Army. He graduated from Western Montana College in Dillon in 1960 with a BS in Secondary Education

Ron married Patricia Dianne Luchettiin June of 1959. They moved to Medicine Lake for Ron’s first teaching job. Their daughter Melody was born in 1960. After the death of Dianne, they moved to Boulder where Ron started his long teaching and administrator career at Jefferson High School in 1963.

In the spring of 1967, Ron met and married Libby Nye and joined their two families with son, Mike. Daughter Tabitha joined the family in 1977, followed by son Christopher in 1980. Ron retired from Jefferson High School in 1990. He started his next adventure as a teacher and principal at Riverside Youth Correctional Facility’s high school. He recently retired in March.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; brother, F.L. (Mick) Fuller Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Adele and Verl Johnson; and his first wife, Patricia Dianne.

A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at St. Catherine’s Church, Boulder.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at St. Catherine’s. A luncheon will follow.

The family requests donations to the Bull Mountain Rural Fire Department, Boulder, Mont., or a charity of your choice.
