Gregory Allen Sills, 66, of Dawsonville, GA, formerly of Montpelier, IN., passed away unexpectedly at 4:00 PM on Monday, December 08, 2014 in Hartford City, IN. He was born on Saturday, April 24, 1948, in Hartford City. He married Cathy Banter on Saturday, October 23, 1965 in Blackford County. Greg was a 1966 graduate of Montpelier High School. He also graduated from National Lewis University and St. Francis College. Greg was currently the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Almark Foods of Gainsville, GA. He had previously worked for over 25 years at ConAgra and Nabisco Foods as a regional sales manager. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Lanier Hills Church in Gainesville, GA. Greg enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, and camping, but above all else he loved spending time with his Grandchildren.



Survivors include: Wife - Cathy (Banter) Sills, Dawsonville, GA., Son - Cristopher Allen (Wife, Trina) Sills, Cleveland, TN., Daughter-Melissa Ann Monica, Lawrenceville, GA., Son - Bryan Gregory Sills, Dahlonega, GA., Son-in-Law-Alexander Monica, Suwanee, GA, 7 Grandchildren, Brother - Gerald (Wife, Linda) Sills, Hartford City, IN., Sister - Teresa (Husband, John) Henderson, Hartford City, IN., Sister - Janis (Husband, Michael) Ramey, Hartford City, IN and Sister - Carolyn (Husband, Jay) Jones, Suwanee, GA.



He was preceded in death by his: Father - Paul Ivy Sills, Mother - Mable Pauline (Fear) Sills

And One Daughter - Lisa Diane Sills.



Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2014, one hour prior to the service.



A service to celebrate Greg’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2014. Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
