Bryant Station Pioeer Buried at Rogers
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Rogers cemetery for J. B. Bryant, 79, who died at Bartlett at the home of his niece and nephew, Mr and Mrs H. D. Bryant, Monday morning. He had been in ill health for several months.
Mr. Bryant was born at Bryant Station July 6, 1854, where he lived with his mother, Mrs Amanda Fetterly, until they moved to Bartlett. He was a member of the Central Texas Pioneers club.
The deceased is survived by his mother, who is 98 years of age, six nephews, H. D. Bryant of Bartlett, R. G. Bryant of Seabrook; L. R. Bryant of Rogers; E. C. Bryant of Lorenzo; E. P. Bryant of Ralls, and H. H. Bryant of McGregor; four nieces Mrs. H. J. Starling and Mrs Chas. Lively of Rogers; Mrs. C. H. Slone of Ralls, ad Mrs. E. T. Colbert of Bellfalls.
