William M. Roser, 61, 1213 Hancock st., former well-known retaurant owner of this city, died in Chester Hospital yesterday following a short illness.
Mr. Roser, son of the late William Roser Sr., was a member of the Chester Brotherhood Protective Order of Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Mary H. Roser; a son, Wayne M. Roser, 3524 Edgewater la., Brookhaven; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Myers, Chester; a granddaughter, Deborah Ann Roser, Brookhaven; his mother, Mrs. Eva M. Roser, Chester, and a sister, Mrs. Sanford B. Barrett, 212 E. 21st st., Chester.
Mr. Roser, born and raised in this city, had been in the restaurant business for more than 35 years.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Ray F. Imschweiler funeral parlor, 1600 Edgemont av. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Viewing will be Tuesday evening.
