Born: 1758 in the town of Sharon, Berkshire Co, Mass.
Died: September 4, 1833 aged 76 yrs. (g.s.) in Ellisburg, Jefferson Co. N.Y.
Married: CYNTHIA HOLLEY
Died: July 20, 1822 aged 52 yrs. (g.s.) in town of Ellisburg, N.Y.

Service: Nathan Holly entered the Revolutionary War in the Winter of 1778 under Capt. Hull's Co, Col. Brooks Regt. and served in the Mass. Line, Gen. Patterson's Brigade. Marched to New Haven, Conn., then to Newport, where he served for nine months with the Continental Army. In 1780, he did service around West Point. Saw Gen. Arnold making his escape, but at the time had not heard of his "Disaffection". Nathan Holly lived in Richmond, Mass., Bennington, Vt., Whitestown, Oneida Co., N.Y., and in the town of Ellisburg, Jefferson Co., N.Y., where he died.

Remarks: Nathan Holly and his wife are buried in the village cemetery in Ellisburg, N.Y. with other members of the Holly family.
