On her Social Security papers she listed her birthdate as 1884 but her headstone shows 1890. She and William had 12 children. I Have her death certificate. Barnie Wayne Presley is the only living child as of 12/2014.

SCOTTSVILLE, KY--Services for Mrs. Laura Bell Carter Presley, 86, of Adolphus, KY, will be at 2 p.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church in Sumner County, Tenn. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Presley died Monday at her home. The body is at Tom Crow and Son Funeral Home. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Smith, Helena, Ohio, Mrs. Nellie Johnson, Nashville, Miss Lois Dean Presley, Adolphus, and Mrs. Susie Whitehead, Hampton, Tenn.; six sons, Lewis, Thurman, Robert and R. C, Indianapolis, Barney, Fairfield, Calif., and Bobby Presley, Westmoreland, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Presley, Gallatin; a brother, Willie Carter, Bethpage, Tenn.; 36 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
