Standard-Examiner (Ogden, UT) - March 21, 2002. LAYTON - Frances Louise Adams, our beloved mother and grandmother, 93, passed away March 17, 2002 in Folsom, California. Frances was born March 6, 1909 in Boyer, Colorado a daughter of Louis Selleneit and Mattie Mae Bonham Selleneit. She was raised in Centerville, Utah and graduated from Davis High School. She married Donald Harris Adams May 31, 1928 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. After marriage, they lived in Layton until 1940 when they moved to Wendover. They returned to Layton in 1955 where Donald was in the turkey business. Frances was a faithful member of the LDS church, serving in many auxiliary organizations. She was active in genealogical work and was involved in a family history book for the Selleneit line. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and ceramics. She loved singing and sang in many choirs over the years. She was continually involved in service to others, was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Her husband Donald preceded her in death in February 1993.

She is survived by one son and three daughters: Neta Norman (Gene), Folsom, California; Don Adams (Jo Ann), Mission Viejo, California; Sharlet Gilchrist (Bob), Salt Lake City, Utah; Dianne Flint, Kaysville, Utah; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, LaRee Cowley, Layton, Utah; Prudence Morgan, St. George, Utah; and one sister-in-law, Afton Ellison, Boise, Idaho; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield, Layton, Utah. Friends and family may call Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
