Survived by his wife, the former Gladys McMoris; one son, Cecil Alvin Jr.; five daughters, Cecile Louise, Linda Gayle, Carolyn June, Janie Darlene and Terri Jean; four sisters, Mrs. Gladys Polk, Zachary, Mrs. Bill Nathan, Dallas, Tex., Mrs. L. J. Ricks, Baton Rouge and Mrs. Sal Broes, Greenwell Springs; two brothers, Bill Ash, Baton Rouge and Clovis Ash, Zachary.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, New Roads.
