Sadie Wiley Huneycutt, 100 of Corinth, MS, formerly of Hickman County, was the daughter of the late Thomas and Amanda Davidson Wiley. She was also preceded by her husbands, Jimmy Gleaves; Johnny Huneycutt; sisters, Evie; Etta; Mattie; Belva; brothers, Henry; Fred; Grady; and Jack. She is survived by her many nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and special niece, Sara Marcelles with whom she lived for almost 50 years.
She was born on April 1, 1914 on Blue Buck Branch here in Hickman County, TN; she departed this life on December 2, 2014 in Corinth, MS where she had lived for the last 5 years. Her time on this earth was 100 years, 8 months, and 2 day. She was the next to the youngest of 9 children born to Thomas and Amanda Wiley. Sadie and her eight brothers and sisters all grew up near where they were born on Blue Buck. When their mother died Sadie was not quite 5 years old; and their father, the one the family all called "Daddy Tom" was left with 9 children.
