She is survived by her husband, Richard Reams; five daughters, Mrs. Juel Clark and Mrs. Madgdolene Raines, both of Murphysboro, Mrs. Opal Hand of Ava, and Mrs. Ruby McMannis and Mrs. Violet White, both of Gorham; two sons, Walter and Ralph, both of Gorham; one brother, Henry Thies of Drummonds, Tennessee; one half-brother, Milton Carter of Arkansas; one sister, Mrs. Lena Miles of Waterloo; 24 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one son.
