JoAnn grew up on the east side of Bay City, Michigan. After high school she worked at The Varsity Drive-In restaurant on Euclid where she met her husband. That was more than 60 yrs ago. She was a loving wife and mother spending her last 14 yrs caring for her husband following his stroke. Prior to her care giving, she enjoyed anything to do with bowling. JoAnn had served in the bowling community in several capacities. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the local VFW post. Hobbies included rock picking (to make jewelry), collecting recipes and the occasional trip to the casino with her girlfriends. She also had a deep love for animals. She leaves behind her husband whom she married August 14, 1954, two daughters, a son in law, her son and her pets, Buddy, Sweet Pea and Freezer Boy.
