He was survived by his wife and four children, Elva Marie Smith, Ruth Sparks, Richard and Ralph Bowman; also, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Hook, of PennKnoll Village.
He was preceded in death by two sons.
He was retired from Central Chemical in Everett after 29 years of service.
Mr. Bowman was a member of El Bethel Assembly of God Church at Chaneysville, attended church at the Clear Creek Brethren in Christ Church.
Burial in El Bethel Church Cemetery, Chaneysville.
