According to US Census Records Robert J Fountain was born between 1817-1818 in Georgia.He married Martha M Potts March 24, 1842 in Muscogee Co., GA. Don't know when he died but I believe it was sometime after June 23, 1870 which was when the 1870 US Census Record was taken. Not sure where he is buried but info from family thinks Asbury Cemetery though grave site is probably unmarked. Most of his children and his widow moved to the Deep East Texas area.
