Mary Elizabeth Macke, 81, of Marshall, passed away at 8:57 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind. She was born March 6, 1933, in Marshall, Ill., the daughter of True and Lorene Guinnip Garwood. She was married to Wayne Macke, who preceded her in death in 1973.
Mary Elizabeth loved her children and grandsons dearly. She loved gardening, working in her flower garden, cooking and working in her church.
She was a member of the First Christian Church and attended faithfully. She was a believer that Jesus Christ was her savior. She had been a member of the Singing Sams, G.M.C. of the church, and worked in the Cross Walk Program of the church.
