"C. Elwood Bertolette, 80, died at his home here, Wednesday morning, after a years’ illness. His entire life was spent in Washingtonville. He served as mayor, member of school board and council, and also as post master. He was a member of IOOF. His wife passed away one year ago. Surviving children are: Mrs. Charles Lewis and Miss Carrie Bertolette of Cleveland, Mrs. Jesse Esterly and Mrs. Frank Warner, of Columbiana, Mrs. James Quilligan of Canton, Mrs. Wm. Smith of Washingtonville, Charles and Glen Bertolette of Columbiana, and William Bertolette of Washingtonville. Funeral arrangements are incomplete."
