Maxine Conley Pratt, 89, of Ballinger passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ballinger.

She was born April 10, 1925 in Santa Anna, Tx to William Sturling and Lorena (Ruth) Conley. After high school, Maxine married Myron Angus Pratt in Brownwood, Texas on November 14, 1945. She was a homemaker and devoted mother to their three children. She was a member of the Fairlane Church of Christ in Amarillo, Texas.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; husband Myron on February 5, 2007; sisters Ruth Current and Jennie B DeSha; and brother Dave Conley.

She is survived by her three children, Myra Carlisle and husband Cary of Pampa, TX, Max Pratt and wife Juanita of Ballinger, and Les Pratt and wife Pattie of Amarillo; brothers Billie Ray Conley of Gilmer and Audie Lee Conley of Amarillo; her nine grandchildren: Willie Carlisle; Nancy Carlisle; Lora & Marc Hampton; Annie & Aaron Baker; Sherri & Curtis Dunson; Mark & Shannon Pratt; Zeke Pratt and Jennifer Pratt; Dani & Chuck Hawkins; Ginta & Steven Aaron; Zane & Candi Pratt; and twenty-two great-grandchildren: Ashley, Natalie, & Lauren Carlisle; Colin & Lydia Hampton; Beau, Logan, Ava, & Max Baker; Caleb, Sarah & Jonathan Dunson; Ethan, Jaxon, & Collin Pratt; Lee Glass; Bella Hawkins; Cadie Page and Cesslie Pratt; Jon, Izac, & William Aaron. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 25 at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger with a prayer service following in the chapel. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 26 at Fairlane Church of Christ in Amarillo with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo. A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, March 26 at Fairlane Church of Christ in Amarillo.

The family request donations be made to “Moments of Inspiration” c/o 9th Street Church of Christ, P.O. Box 653, Ballinger, TX 76821 or a favorite charity.

Arrangements are with Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger.
