Age 74, of Harborcreek, son of the late George and Ethel Batten. Lenny was employed at Kaiser Aluminum until his retirement. For many years, he played softball for Kaiser Aluminum. Lenny was an avid fisherman and enjoyed crossword puzzles and the Pennsylvania Lottery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving on the U.S.S. Forrestal.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mariann Batten; one sister, Roberta Groetter; and one stepdaughter, Tammy Held (d 1/7/2013 age 49 in Erie).
Lenny is survived by his wife, Jeannette Batten; one son, Brian Batten (Sue) of Ankeny, Iowa; two daughters, Judy Bauer (Frank) of Millcreek and Julie Brown (Danne) of Port Orchard, Wash.; six grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Heidi Miller and Dana Zeelsdorf; and nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
