VERNON (Special) Services for Grace Wages, 94, of Vernon will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Wilbarger Street Church of Christ with Jay Hanley, minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, in Lubbock.

She was born March 5, 1905, in McCollough [sic] County. She moved to Vernon with her parents in 1910, traveling by covered wagon.

She married Calvin Wages on Feb. 6, 1926, in Vernon. He died March 13, 1956.

A daughter, Jauanita [sic] Wages, died in 1930.

She was a homemaker and a member of Wilbarger Street Church of Christ and the Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include five daughters, Gay Bingham and Gloria Riggins, both of Vernon, Maria Lindsey and Jean Riley, both of Denton, and Vicky Shivers of Lubbock; two sons, Warren Wages of Vernon and Don Wages of Denton; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 3800 Texas St.
